How to manually install codecs??

Anyone have a quick tutorial or instructions on how to manually install codecs in version 2.5
I am having some troubles with my previously installed selection and need to edit and remove some plus add some new ones

you can use DSFMgr.exe tool to remove installed codecs, if they dont have an uninstall link in windows start menu.

to install codecs , you usually just run their setup file or batch file. DVB Dream will automatically recognize if you click on "Add installed codecs" in DVB Dream video dialog. Some codecs cant be installed that way, so you might need to edit codecs.ini file manually . it is in DVB Dream installation folder. just copy one entry there and change it. you can learn codec GUID/ClassID using DSFMgr.exe , then add it into codecs.ini

I have some I want to try that don't seem to have an installer. So now I'll give those a try!
