split recording file by time

Hi
is there is any way i can split recording file by time
I mean every 15 minutes i need to split the file
splitting by size is not useful ,some channels requires 1GB for 15 minutes
others require 200MB for every 15 minutes
so i cant depend on size split
and it is not useful for me to record hours in one file
