Its strange. Im using DvbDream from some time and i have one strange problem that comes back again and again.
I have installed DD on my PC one month ago and im using Nero codecs on Overlay Video Render but after some time (maybe two weeks) i have discovered that in video options, Overlay Video Render lights in pink color .... and DD is using VMR for now.
I dont know why.
Its not only Nero codec problem. The same problem i experienced with InterVideo codec and maybe another (i dont remember).
And its not only Overlay Video Render problem, the same problem i have noticed with Generic Video Render.
Problems with codecs.
- Twinhan VisionDTV 1022a DVB-S / Athlon 64 2800+ - 1024 Mb DDR - GeForce 7600 GS (PCIE) / WinXP Home SP2
- Twinhan VisionDTV 1022a DVB-S / Sempron 2800+ - 512 Mb DDR - Integrated SIS Graphics Card / WinXP Home SP2
- EasyTouch Columbia 1022a DVB-S / Athlon 1400 - 512 Mb DDR - Radeon 9550 AGP / WinXP Home SP2
I can confirm problem with Nero (*even a crash - Eurekalog below), but it works good with InterVideo here.
There is a problem with ffdshow too, already reported. - But I see now, that it works if one option is changed - HW deinterlacing, but it was working before.
Another problem, already reported but perhaps related to this one, auto detect AR (16:9) doesn't work with Overlay renderer too.

ok i have installed Cyberlink 5 (included with VisionDTV) and now it works fine with Overlay Video mixer .. and we will see how long.
PS. After one hour i have changed overlay to generic mixing render because of huge cpu usage with overlay.
We will se, how long will work Cyberlink with that mixing render.
