arghhh help??
Well first I've got to ask, since it doesn't seem to appear on the forum, or in the general instructions. The DBA drivers in DVBDream don't appear to work. What's the secret formula to get TBS Q-Box's DBA drivers to work with DVBDream?
Even transplanting DBA drivers from another program fails. Apparenty there's no standard to the DBA standard.
Also noteing a WinIRC problem. There's no USB settings, just Com ports, so, none of them see the remote control, which uses the same USB 2.0 channel from inside the Q-Box receiver where the IR sensor is located.
thanks

Not all BDA cards work, your card is in the list of supported cards, but there's a note "not confirmed yet", more here:arghhh help??

Also OS might be a problem.
I don;t know your remote, but there are WinLIRC plugins for some USB remote controls, try to find one...Also noteing a WinIRC problem. Dreamer,
I would think by the mention of it on the page, that there might be something comming soon, or, in the works that will allow TBS Q-Box to work with DVB Dream?
It's sad to say the unit comes bunded with 2 programs and only one, half way works. And, as it is, it's so called DBA compliant drivers, can't be transplanted to work with DVB Dream yet.
I'll look for a Lirc for USB, but, at this point, apparently there's no real hurry.

Well that clears up the mystery somewhat. I'll be looking forward to when DD's developer, is again able to continue dedicating time to his fine efforts.
But, in the interum I need something that works now, because, the bunded software that came with this TBS Q-Box unit, is poor at best.
thanks
