EPG issues

Postby DVBwatcher » Sun Jan 28, 2007 10:12 am

I got DVBDream to populate schedules using internal EPG. Now this may sound retarded but how do I add certain showings into my scheduler to record?

No way, it was in old EPG, but it's not implemented in the new EPG, yet.

You have to wait for Rel and you can support this suggestion, there is no reply there, even if I know lot of people would like this feature.

There is also external EPG - DVBEPG, there is such a feature, but it doesn't work.

Hello Momotte,

thanks for the reply. Is it working with new version of DVB Dream and internal scheduler? It doesn't work here.

This option is missing also in the new internal EPG, so there is no way to use this useful feature, I'd like to help if you want try to fix it.

Sorry, I was talking about the Windows Scheduler through command line. DVBEPG will NOT use the DVBDream internal scheduler...

OK, but nothing is added to Windows scheduler when I select "Schedule" in DVBEPG. "Record now" works good, so it's strange, it looks as a bug.

It was reported also by other users elsevwhere, so there must be something wrong. If you need to help with testing, just let me know. Thanks.

Just works fine for me on XP Pro SP2.

I don't think that this issue comes from DVBEPG or DD but from Windows Rights Management.

FredB, just to be sure, you mean, that when you select "Schedule" in the context menu of DVBEPG, event is added to Windows Scheduled tasks?

What do you think could be wrong? Windows Scheduler is running, also DVBEPG is enabled.

yes, let me know if you use the context menu or if you use the event grid action(which shows up when you double click on an event)
