can't start des.dll crash

Using vista, ever since I did the last windows updates, I can't start dvbdream anymore, it crashes instantly with des.dll error.

Tried reinstalling in different dir, no plugins etc. Can't get version 1.4d e or f to start.

Same problem, running with no UAC. It suddenly stopped working. I suspect the latest windows updates.

Can you see that file "des.dll"" in the DD root folder? what does the error message say?

yep, it was there. It was a run of the mill GPF with des.dll as the culprit. I rebooted a couple of times and deleted-reinstalled the latest skystar driver and CoreAVC and it started working again. Dunno what fixed it exactly but I've tv again now.

DVBDream was working now it crashes on des.dll. Removed it. Still no help. Was working before some windows update. Do I need to wait until the g version? Tried a fresh install, no good.

Same problem, short of reinstalling OS, nothings works. Back to MyTheatre.
