Audio channel mode switching in DD

Hello everybody,
sorry if this has beed asked here before but I honestly did some search-digging first before posting this.
Is there a way to directly switch audio mode in DD? Like switching to L+R channel mode for stereo broadcasts, and L or R channel mode for dual-language broadcasts. Or do I have to solve this using the audio decoders?

The only workaround is to use InterVideo, AC3 Filter, or FFDShow - more here:
