it is really a nice feature. now when the PMT and PAT regeneration work as expected adding ability to do UDP streaming will not be much pain full I guess. Let's imagine streaming to VLC media player for example 
as a base you should try implementing it for currently watched channel. after a while if it appears stable you can then consider adding it to the pip as well if possible.
