How can I tell if device is started?

Postby Zhopa » Wed Apr 01, 2009 1:07 pm

Hi!

I'm newbe to DVBDream (and whole PCI DVD cards at all) and trying to get it work with VisionPlus 1020a.

In DVBDream I have 0 signal and 0 quality (but everything works in FTA box).

In DEVICE folder I see my card. I press START button but nothing happens. Is there is any way to see if my card is active (like changed color etc)?

And one more question:
what drivers should I use if I have Discq switch - BDA or WMA?

I set Diseq settings in DESEQ menu, but still nothing...

May be there is some obvious reason that newbe just don't see?

Thanks for any help!!!!

hi,

you should use WDM drivers for DD & 1020a
DVB Dream - because I have to dream about having time to code it

Thanks for reply!

I've tried different things...

For some reason I couldn't install WDM drivers first, WinXP was saying something like "cannot detect better driver that currently installed"...

Anyway, I've got it going.

Right now I connected one LNB directly to the card and it's working. XP shows in the System:
Device:DVB-TV Digital Tuner Driver
Driver Provider: DVB-TV
Driver date: 4/3/2006
Driver version: 1.2.3.8

So, is it WDM or BDA driver?
It works but may be I can get it to work better or more stable?
Any ideas why I couldn't install WDM drivers? I tried to delete device first but then it picked BDA driver automatically...

Thanks for reply anyway!

I'll keep my sight but wouldn't mind any help :))))

i think its bda drivers so if u wish to install wdm driver so u should change the card pci slot.
