latest BIOS 2002?
I have doubts that you have any USB 2.0 ports on your motherboard.
Please give us a link to your motherboard specs (if you think otherwise).

Most probably, you may forget about using SkyWalker-2 with this motherboard. Cause your hardware does not meet the min specs.

Man, you have to figure out what hardware do you have.
Compaq/HP site says that 6ZPXE2 has intel ICH2 chipset (which never supported USB 2.0).

which is in big contradiction to your earlier statement:
i have built pc's since 1998.
Man, you bring more and more proves that you are not ready for DVB yet.
You need to figure out what's inside your PC first.

Then you need to learn National Electrical Code (you need to properly ground every antenna you have in your house).

And then, you may start with something simple (like $40 Twinhan DVB-s card).

You don't have a hardware which meets minimal requirements for SkyWalker-2.

added:
you may want to read the specs for your hard-drive as well.
Is it capable to maintain sustained write speed for HD channels you plan to record?
What's the bitsream rate of HD channels, and what's sustained write speed of your hard-drive (and don't use "max write speed" as a sustained speed - these are different rates)?

then you need SkyWalker-1 (not -2).
SkyWalker-2 comes with internal USB 2.0 cable which is compatible with USB motherboard header ONLY, and you have none.
I simply can't imagine how you may build working USB cable for your SkyWalker-2. One may use A-B USB cable, cut B connector and replace it with 5-pin female connector.
Sorry, but after you told so far, I don't think you are up to this job.
Most probably, you will kill SkyWalker-2 by connecting wrong pins to USB connector.

I advise you to return it for a refund (while it's still working).

i already bought a Twinhan DVB-s card, back in 2008,

which is a twinhan visionDTv magic box model no:vp7021.it's ausb2.0 card.

i have been useing it on and off since 2008.with mytheatre.
works great on my desktop pc.
and like i said the main reason why i bought the skywalker-2 , was to do fta hd, next month i will be going with this AMD X2 4200 1GB of ram and a GeForce 9600 with 1Gig ram on video card.for my hd pc.

i just can't aford to build a hd pc now, so i bought the skywalker-2 , for my next hd pc next month i will be going with this AMD X2 4200 1GB of ram and a GeForce 9600 with 1Gig ram on video card.for my hd pc.

which i may just have to save up to by the amd x2 4200 , than buy yhe geforce 9600 1Gig ram gfx the next month.

than it should play hd video's really great.

thanks for all the help , any way

then, as I said, SkyWalker-1 better suits you then SkyWalker-2.
SkyWalker-1 uses standard A-B USB cable, and would work in that environment where your Twinhan USB tuner works. And you can easily connect/disconnect it to you multiple computers.
You still have to solve your grounding issues, though.

One big problem with SkyWalker-1 in your environment:
incorrect Molex power insertion (upside down) is #1 reason of its damage.
And my guts are telling me that your SkyWalker-1 would be highly exposed to this potential error.

you just email me saying it was working fine.

my mainboard has both a 5 pin usb2.0, and a 4 pin usb on board.

heres a link to my front usb connector

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/docu ... 0311#N1620

a good look at Figure 2
as you can see it has a 5 pin usb2.0 which is in front, and a 4pin which is usb1.0 which is behinde the 5 pins.take a good look at Figure 2

it had a9pin cable hooked up to 2 usb port on the front of my pc, my pc has 4 usb1.0 ports in back, 2usb ports infront.whinch is all connected to th onboard motherboard.

beside's i have beeing reading alot here and you think every ones ground i bad, here.no matter who installed there dish.besides if my ground was bad, than my dad would have had it fixed along time ago by a eletric guy. .

Sorry, where should I land my "good look"? Where does it say that these pictures have anything to do with ICH2 chipset (chipset of your motheboard)?
Where did you get the idea that 5-pin USB header is USB 2.0 and 4-pin USB header is USB 1.1?
Trust me, there is NO such rule.

All I can read on the page your link is pointing to is (in plain English):
To help correct these issues, ensure the following items are true:

*The USB port used is truly a USB 2.0 port. For most HP and Compaq desktop computer you can refer to the motherboard specification support document on customer care for this information.
So.... did you read your motherboard specification?
By the way, according to the installation document (which "you read by the T" as you said), you were supposed to verify the pin-out of your USB header. If your motherboard is one of those which uses NON-standard headers (these motherboards do exist), you have to modify the cable.
And now, after you gambled with that (you may have killed SkyWalker's USB controller by putting +5V line on one of the signal lines), you decided to come here and tell us that you know everything, that you "build PCs since 1998", that you know how antenna should be grounded.
While in reality, you can not even read (or comprehend) any technical document. And it's not just one particular document, you failed to read/understand every single document/link you tried (either the ones which you found yourself, or the ones which I provided).
beside's i have beeing reading alot here and you think every ones ground i bad, here.no matter who installed there dish.besides if my ground was bad, than my dad would have had it fixed along time ago by a eletric guy. .
OK, counting this comment and 4 e-mails which you sent me, this is your 8th attempt to "describe" your grounding.
Again, this attempt failed miserably.
Also, since you have noticed so many threads where "professional installation" was eventually classified as un-professional, I thought you may finally start to use your brain and stop repeating "my dish is professionally installed".
say what t.f.!!!???
Is this all you can say?
Well, I'm done here.
Try to find someone else willing to waste his/her time trying to help/educate you.

"I received your SkyWalker-2 back.
All I can say: it's working fine here. There are absolutely no problems with it. "

just tell me , if it is still good and working,?

you said you checked it , you said it was working fine in dvbream1.4i.

now you keep on saying it's "you may have killed SkyWalker's USB controller by putting +5V line on one of the signal lines."

lol! if i would have "you may have killed SkyWalker's USB controller by putting +5V line on one of the signal lines" that way xp would have never have found the skywalker-2.
but xp found it, and i install the xp driver from cd-rom, like it said, step by step in the "Driver Installation - Windows XP, Windows 2003.pdf" on the cd-rom that came with the skywalker-2.

i have read both "SkyWalker-2 installation.pdf" , "Driver Installation - Windows XP, Windows 2003.pdf" before doing the install of the skywalker-2.

i didn't just pay $199.50 just for nothing.

i was going to get 1 more for my dads pc.

i have all already check both links, good free clips (different resolution) are here:
h++p://www.apple.com/quicktime/guide/hd/
h++p://www.h264info.com/clips.html

all played good on my dellc843 laptop.
i have built over 8 pcs, how many have you built??
i started with windows3.1, than windows95, 98 2ed, tha windows me, windowsxp.i have install done all of them.i have install alot of hard drives, cd-rom drives, dvd-r +r burners.
i have even, installed more than one type of luinx.like "dam small luinx"
"red hat" and "wine".

huh?
Are you kidding?!
I don't know about you, but I have a job (I have to work for living).
You are asking too much from me!

Because I'm dumb, slow, and you know about computers much more then me, I advise you not to buy anything from me anymore (cause I would not be able to give you a proper support).

Please buy a DVB-s card from more reputable company (where you can expect a proper technical support).

I sent you a full refund.
