Having Difficulty Recording with DVBDream V,8.7b - Nexsus S PCI

I have been running this application for the last three years wuthout any problems with DVBEPG1.0.25, and for Plugins I am using em**ation 1.4.3.4. I am using Windows XP (Safety Pack 2). My computor has AMD Athlon 3000+ 2.GHZ processor with 1GB RAM, RADEON 7500 series video card.

Lately I have developed a problem. The recording starts OK and runs for over an hour then it starts to pixalate & skipping for some time (2 to 15 minutes) and then it goes back to normal, and the sound goes out of sink with the video.

Apart from regular Windows updates, Norton updates, I have updated the Internet Explorer to version 7 and Windows media Player to version 11 but had not noticed any incompatability, and post these up dates the recording has been runnig fine. It is only in the last two weeks or so this problem has developed.

Any help will be very appreciated.

After trying almost every thing the problem turned out to be related to Window Media Player update.

I believe there was a some codecs related incompetability. Neverthless the solution turned out to be installing the latest Direct X9 file and new Codecs and then instlling DVBDream V.8.7b, and that seems have resolved the problem

NB : The last release of DD compatible with Premium cards is 0.88b :wink:
