What are we doing here ? Who is/are 'we' ?
We are a great community of people(s), wich don't like the silly & mostly unusable Prog's comming with the Card's and/or Boxes and like to have more functinonality while using a comfortable programm to watch digital TV.
Rel is a great prgrammer doing his best to give us all a a fine grogramm ! But he can't (!) do anything alone - he needs help from people reporting bugs, giving new ideas and manything more.
Therefore we have forum's like this and the german '
www.dvbdream.de'- i'm one of the mod's doing it's best to help people from solving there manyfold problems. And i try to care it well !
Many user's of TwinHan Starbox and/or Thyphoon USB-Box reported heavy probs to get this device running with DD.
ME TOO ! Hardwareprobs ? No ! Those USB-boxes will run fine with the original and some other Software. So why not with DD ????
It seems to be a driver/device prob. See text above.
My very little and simlpe idea was to create a new device-drive like 'TWINHAN-USB.DEV' to fix those probs.
ONLY TO HELP THE DESPEREATE HOUSEWIfE's (and -MAN's)
Is rel able to write such a driver himself ?
Will he have the neccessary information (i will give it self-evident !) ?
Will he have the neccessary Hardware to test ist ? (... i dont beleive - i have it here)
Will he have the neccessary time to do it contemporary ? (... see 'timings' above)
Yes - everything around DD is rel's only intellectual property !!!
HOWEVER:
rel blazed his distinguished programm for free !
This forum (and the german one) gives feedback to make it better !
Conclusion:
Why i cannot have this dam..d f....ing DDK to try to develope a new device ?
Absolutely incomprehensibly !
I hope for some comprehension.
