can you put a buffer in the record option ..
witch help to record after 5 or 10 sec ... defined by the user...
exp : i saw a clip & is want to catch it from the beginning .... that's help !!!!

Yes please this is what many of us have requested:
That the recording include some minutes before the time we press Record button...such an option is in other DVB software....
Some said that this could be done with the versions we already use and described a rather "acrobatic" manipulation to achieve this...I tried that on my system and it failed...
Please allow recording some extra few minutes before keypress.

I can perfectly done this using timeshift.
While a clip has been started I just have to move the slider a little and press record and it'll get recorded. For movies this is not perfect because timeshifting may cause sincing problems but really for short clips it's working like a DVB dream

P4 3.0GHz 1024 MB of ram, nvidia Geforce 6600, SS2 rev 2.6, WDM drivers 4.41, SG2100, always latest DVBDream with the latest FFDshow.
So it is NOT workingFor movies this is not perfect because timeshifting may cause sincing problems

Well, this was so many times requested. It was supported before version 1.0. Im still using 0.8.7b just for this. Would be very nice to return in new versions

Can you please tell me which software supports this? Im hunting for an alternative since years, but couldnt find anything till yet.
